‘No mud, no lotus’

Thich Nhat Hanh

I see therapy as an opportunity to grow as a person as well as a way to solve a personal issue. Therapy should not be seen as a failing or a stigma. Things happen; some pleasant, some not. We have no power over the fact that sometimes bad things happen to us. We do have power over how we choose to react to what happens to us.

While pain is inevitable, how we choose to suffer is optional. Suffering ‘well’ can be seen as an art, which we can learn and get help with. I see suffering as the mud within which the flower of our personal insight grows.

My role as a talking therapist is to enable a deeper understanding of your true self. I work holistically, by working with the whole person, tapping into your true power to be free and happy. Our natural intelligence is present in all of us. Sometimes it needs encouragement to grow.

I have a PhD in Philosophy, qualifications in Counselling and EFT, a Reconnective Healing Diploma and an Advanced Diploma in Holistic Hypnotherapy.

I am a member of the Hypnotherapy Association and am fully insured.
